Hail to thee!

My name is Teagan and I'm a 30 year old jewelry artist from Michigan :)

In April of 2024, I started making myself earrings with nothing more than a few beads, a couple charms, basic findings, and the bare minimum tools. I sold earrings at farmers markets for a few months and, in August 2024, was asked by a dear friend to make a Renaissance fair piece. In that moment, I knew that if even one person was interested in a niche Renaissance-inspired design, there HAD to be others out there.

On a humid summer night in late September 2024, I started my business. I was nervous, but decided I didn’t care how it went down, I just knew I was meant to do it. Revival of Adornment was born. It is the closest thing to a calling I’ve ever felt. Since then, I’ve sculpted my business bead by bead, chain by chain, and through you.

Ever since I can remember, I’ve viewed words, sounds, and feelings in color. I felt like I was seeing and sensing so many things that others weren’t attuned to. I searched for an outlet for so long, dabbling in many different genres of art along the way, but when I picked those pliers, everything clicked. Working with my hands, harnessing the fantasy world that existed only in my head, and bringing it to life.

When I create… I feel guided by something else. “Creation” doesn’t adequately encompass what I feel. It feels otherworldly. I get lost in the gradience of color and texture. Like I am simply a vessel, here to offer you these pieces. Little fragments of my soul scattered through the world.

There are no words in existence that could properly encapsulate what your support means to me. To be able to do this for a living. To not only have an outlet for my expression, but for it to be appreciated AND encouraged. Sought after, even! It is such a rare privilege. I am gobsmacked on the regular, often reduced to a puddle of tears, humbled by the deluge of support for my art. From the depths of my soul: thank you for being here.
